It's a fairly sensational episode, but I have just come to the end of an SVU episode in which Alex Kingston plays a defense attorney called Miranda Pond.

Is it fun? I don't know. But I noticed some time ago (and have just been reminded, because the credits just ran) that everyone with a credited role on Psych below the two leads has a name ending in -son (or -sen). Specifically, today, about categories or classes of names - you know, names that come from trades, or flowers, or virtues, or whatever. Not only did I get a parking space when I got home from rehearsal tonight - I got the best parking space.

It isn't what I'd call a reasonable trade, but what the hell, I'll take it.
